I just wanted to drop by and say hello.I know that I have been missing a lot here in blog land but I have tried to stay off the computer so that I can work on my craft room.I did not know that there was so much crafting junk supplies in that room.That is what happens though when you like to do a bit of everything.My true passion used to be painting gourds and while I still love it ,I haven't done much of it in the last few years . There has been something that has seem to be missing in my life and it is my crafting I think...I used to spend hours everyday painting or creating things. I let other things slowly push that part of my life to the side.Once that room is organized that is going to change.It is going to be good to be able to find things when I need them and not spend hours searching for this or that .I do not like clutter and want everything to have a home and my crafting room has been such a mess for a long time. It is slowly coming together and when it is finished I will post pics,it is nothing fancy but it brings happiness to my life.LOL!( most days)
Below are a few pics of some of the gourds that I painted a few years ago .I am going to be putting them up in storage as they are what were left from my last show .If you should see something that you would be interested in please email me or leave a comment and I will give you a price and the dimensions. The price will not be expensive ,I promise, everything is $25.00 and less . I have many more than those pictured below if you would like to see more just let me know.

After the craft show this weekend and we get back from vacation, that is the first thing on my list is to CLEAN my craft room and declutter. I have a walk in closet in there and that's where I am going to start. Love all the gourds. I have so enjoyed mine. I kept it out and love to look at it. You have a great talent. Can't wait to see what you create in that sparkling clean craft room. Have a great day.

Jen ... Woman, you really have talent! Your painting is gorgeous! I know what you mean about your crafting not being as productive as it once had been because your crafting room is a mess & it's hard to find things. That's been one of my problems here. I like to do various things but I don't have my supplies easily accessible. Most are still in moving boxes or Rubbermaid bins & I need to dig through them when I want something. Too much work ... it's easier to just go out & buy what I need rather than search for it. Good luck cleaning out your craft room! You might find some treasures! Blessings, Shirlee

I so see several of those gourds Id love to have but Im flat broke till next week :0( I just cleaned my craft room last week and now I have another show booked and wouldnt ya know its destroyed again , I m just chalkin it up to the fact that creativity =messiness and my OCD neat freak personality hates that but what can you do ? Hey girl, I could have written this post... I know exactly what you mean!! I have been putting my family first for so very long and now my youngest has started Kindergarten so he's in school all day. It's nice to have a quiet house all to myself so I can get back to crafting. I've been away from it for so long that I have felt that longing, that something is missing also. I have worked on my craft area this summer here and there so I need to get mine squared away. I also do a little bit of most crafts so I have stuff strung all over... time to get the chaos under control, haha! It's getting there. I really want to see pictures of your room when you're done. I love looking at creating spaces.
You do an incredible job of painting!! I am no where near that talented but I do love to paint. I don't do detail work though. Your faces are so adorable, mine always look deformed, hehe.
