I am a bad,bad blogger and owe Ann a huge apology! Ann recently held a giveaway of one of her baskets and I was the lucky winner, and boy am I still doing a happy dance over it.I had promised to blog about it a couple of days after I received it but I had not done so  and I am so very sorry. There again my intentions were good but life interrupted once more. There have been sick goats, bottle feeding goats and sick people to deal with the last week.
Now back to my wonderful basket.Friends, I am sure most of you are familiar with Ann and her wonderful blog 1803 Ohio Farm Baskets and her other blog A Hole in the Basket Primitives but if not please check them both out.Ann is wonderfully talented in basket weaving, cross stitching and so many more crafts and is just the sweetest lady.Baskets have long been a favorite thing to collect and I am so in love with my little basket and the sweet egg gourds! The quality of this basket is outstanding and if you have a thing for baskets then you really should check out Ann's Etsy.I have a few of her baskets on my wish list.LOL! Thank you so much Ann for your generosity and please forgive my tardy post. Here are  some pics of my sweet basket...

This is where I have it sitting at the moment...

I love it!!!!!!

On to part two of my title.I was one of the blessed winners of a giveaway that Misi had a couple of weeks ago.The mailman delivered my package yesterday and he is fast becoming one of my favorite people.LOL! Misi has a wonderful blog 1890 Gable House Musings, please check it out if you are not familiar with it.Misi has a beautiful home and is another awesomely talented lady. She is as sweet as she is talented. She sent me one of her yummy scented candles and does it  ever smell good! It is called Bumble Bee Tea,I call it Spring in a candle!Really wish that there was a scratch and sniff on my screen. Please check out Misi and all of wonderful goods. Thanks so much Misi!

Another reason for the tardy post is I am still using hubby's camera and truthfully I hate it!It is hard to get a good pic because it has such a lag time before it actually snaps the pic.My family is praying that I decide soon on which camera I am going to buy.My son actually kind of disappears when he sees me to start to do an online search. Why am I having such a time deciding, well, honestly I don't know.LOL! Research my  friends said well I have and confused myself even more. All those facts are rolling around in my head and I think they are overlapping. At the moment I am leaning toward a Canon sx260 but then again maybe a bit bigger camera would be better.See what happens to me?I know I do not want to spend a huge amount on one because I have arthritis in my hands and tend to drop things at times.Oh well, guess it will be interesting to see where this all ends at some point in time.

Well I am off to feed the newest baby girl goat, for I hear her crying.Molly and Sally are now at the barn which means many daily trips down there to check on and  to feed them.I know that I have been neglecting your blogs and beg your forgiveness. It seems that since the time change that instead of gaining an hour,I have lost several.I can't seem to get caught up and when I sit down at night I crash.Things has to settle down soon and hopefully I can get caught up on all that I have missed. Hope that you all have a wonderful day!Hugs,Jen

This is Ginger over at Prairie Moon Primitives....just want to say congratulations you are the winner of one of the oxford punches along with a pattern, hand~dyed wool yarn, and monks cloth.

We just need an address and we will get it off in the mail. If you have never oxford punched we have a simple tutorial and you can find a link to it at the top of our blog marked tutorials. It is a fun and easy craft even kids as young as 8 can do. You will find that you can use yarn as well as wool strips if cut small enough to punch with.

Again congratulations and look forward to seeing how your project turns out.

We all forgive you and completely understand Jen ! Oh I would love to hear that crying. How sweet.

You'll see in my latest post that Marley Duck passed away...she was doing great. I seriously wonder if she missed being by the others and that is why she passed ?!
