A Wonderful Swap

Good morning friends. The sun is shining and it is beautiful.I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes,it really means a lot coming from such a sweet group of ladies.

As the title of the post hints I have received a wonderful package in the mail.I had joined Wendy's pin keep swap and boy am I glad that I did. Thanks so much Wendy for hosting and for allowing me to be a part of it.Please stop by Wendy's blog and say hello. My swap partner was Danice, she is such a sweet lady and so very talented.Be sure to drop by her blog as well, you won't be disappointed.Danice sent me a lovely pin keep that she made using a pattern designed by Brenda Gervais at http://www.countrystitchesonline.com/index.php. I love it and it is perfect for me.You all already know how I love me a lil mousie!Danice not only sent the pin keep but she included a bag of her yummy potpourri and a strawberry notepad.Just take a look at it all...

Danice thank you so much!It is a pin keep I shall always treasure but even more  of a gift is the friendship that has been made.

I apologize for the quality of the pics,I am using a borrowed camera. My package came on Thursday and I searched the house all over for my camera and could not find it.It surprised me that I had misplaced it because I have developed a habit of sitting it on a particular table but it wasn't there On Friday I had to be gone from home all day,so early Saturday the hunt began once more.Sadly my camera was located underneath the table where apparently it had been knocked off.It is garbage now,so any suggestions for a new camera?

Well I am off to get busy putting the finishing touches on my swap as it needs to be mailed soon.Hope that you all are well and may your day be filled with many blessings! Jen

Love the pinkeep and all the goodies you received in the swap. Sorry to hear about your camera. I just have a cheap old camera but Holly has a Cannon and loves it. Enjoy your sun. We have rain and flood warnings out. Have a good day.

A bloggers faithful friend is our much needed camara. Picking a new one and learning all the In's and out's of it takes time. Good luck. Pin cushion is so cute. Blessings ! Lara

Oh crumb about your camera! I find that I end up using my phone for pics more often than not now more than anything because it is always handy but I do miss the ease of downloading my pics with a good old cord or card (I knew how to do that-the only way I know how to download them from my phone it to text them to my email them download it to the pic file lol!).

Still waiting to see your new pal ;) and I am glad you seem to be feeling a bit better.

Wonderful swap treasures! I bowed out of that swap but I am looking forward to the next swap to come up!

Feathery hugs to you my friend!
Kendra

Good evening Jen, what a wonderful swap! Lovely personalized gifts, the mouse pinkeep is just adorable...When it came time for me to invest in a camera I went with Canon. I have a Canon EOS and also a Canon G12. I love them both, but it is an expensive investment...Sending greeetings from snowy Maine, Julie.

What an adorable little mouse on the strawberry!
Isn't it frustrating the way cameras have a habit of destroying themselves and disappearing??
Hope you enjoy your week!
