Computer Woes

Hello my dear blogging friends.I hope that you all are well and in happy spirits. It seems that once again I am apologizing for not being around. My computer had been having problems for the last several weeks and finally about a week ago it was just a big pain to try and get anything to load. After trying many times to log on to blogs and leave comments I finally through in the towel and quit.Long story short ...some updates, things reloaded and a new keypad for it, the computer seem to be working smoother.I want to thank all of you that left comments on my previous post.If I have not responded yet,I promise I will shortly.I appreciate each of you that take the time to read and leave comments and it is my hope to always reply even if it is late.

I have also been bitten by that nasty flu bug,so that is making my computer time short as well.Friday of last week found me running around doing errands even though I did not feel well.I figured that it was just exhaustion from caring for the goats.By Saturday morning I knew better,I have spent most of my days on the couch under a couple of blankets doing nothing more than sleeping and hacking.Today I feel some better but far from well.

I wanted to wish you all a very Happy Valentine's Day and share a few more projects with you all.The first one is a punch needle that is my design. It is mounted on to a wooden board that I painted and distressed.
A couple close up pics of the painted board,I was really pleased with how it came out.

This is a little pouch that I made using a counted cross stitch pattern.I also made a wool heart and added the same bird motif to it as well.

I used the same wool for the backing as I did for the wool tongues on the front.

The last one is a simple Valentine tuck that I cross stitched and used my walnut dye to stain.

The little wooden heart tag that I made, yeah I know a rusty pin would look better but I am out.LOL!

My thoughts and prayers are with all that have been dealing with the blizzard.I hope that each one of you have a wonderful day tomorrow and know that I will soon be back to keeping tabs on all of your blogs.I just need to shake this flu  bug first.Blessings,Jen

I know where you're coming from - I had the same woes last weekend too.
I love your punchneedle finish but I am really drooling over the x stitched pouch you made with wool -is it from a pattern or would you mind if I made something similar?
Hope you have a better weekend!

Hi, Jen. How about getting Tamiflu from your doctor?
It's supposed to work for curing your flu bug.
Your stoneware crock needlepunch is gorgeous!
Are you going to sell your pattern?(you should!)
The pouch and tuck are very, very pretty. Your work is so perfect!
I hope you are feeling wonderful again very soon.
Hugs,
Susan

All of your projects look beautiful Jennifer!

How are the babies doing? I go and look at how little and cute they are on the post you did every once in a while :)

I have been leaving my ducks inside and every time I go out to the hut Ruger tries to plead his case as to why he should go out. I know that if I opened the door though they would go out and come right back in and just waste the heat right out the open door so they can wait to go outside for a little warmer weather lol!

Stay warm!
