An awesome swap !

Warning that this will be a picture heavy post!

It has been a hot and muggy Wednesday here at the mouse house. Not much excitement going on either,to hot to do much .LOL! The older I get the less I am able to tolerate the heat.Do you think maybe my air conditioned home has me a tad spoiled?

I wanted to share a swap that I did with my friend Jody .Let me tell you she  sent a fabulous box of goodies .I was a squealing and dancing as I tore into that baby! No it wasn't a pretty sight ,me dancing that is , but hey I just could not control myself.LOL! So grab yourself a cold glass of tea or soda and be prepared to ooh and ahh!

Here is a pic of all my goodies !

Turn your head sideways now !Don't know what happened.

Little summer hangers!

Glass ladybug and grubby tea light candle, and wooden watermelon slice.
Wooden crow and sunflowers garland:
My favorite !A rooster pin keep!

Here is the sweet little pillow, there was also a candle and a rooster notepad !

Told you ,she spoiled me rotten!
Hope I haven't lost you yet.LOL!
Time now for that refill because I thought I would share what I sent to her. First off a  couple of cupboard prints.

A fabric watermelon with a bee , a hand painted  tissue box, a bonnet ,and a needle punched framed watermelon slice.

A fabric crow:
Some felt flowers with needle punched centers and a couple of bees.Thought she could use them for bowl fillers.

A vintage flower graphic pillow and a sweet tea sign round it out. I had a blast making all these goodies for Jody.
I  hope that you all have enjoyed the show. I will say good bye but I wish you all a good evening. I will be back in a couple days to share some early birthday gifts.Hugs,Jen

Wow Jen, You got some neat items. I love the rooster pin keep also. And I love all the items you sent Jody. Did you make the cupboard prints? I have got to find me some. Love them displayed in a home. Love the watermelon and sunflowers she sent you and the cloth one you sent in return. I just realized the other day, I do not have a single watermelon item, nor sunflower(prim) to decorate with for summer. I really need to get busy and make me some. I think I ususally take down patriotic items the end of July and slowly start my fall decor inside. Because our show is Labor Day weekend and we leave the following day for a 2 week trip. Once home its the middle of Sept. and I like to come home to my fall items already in place. So ... guess that is why I have skipped summer decor. But am loving the bees, watermelons and sunflowers I have been seeing this year. May take a day and play again for myself. Have fun placing all your goodies.

That was fun!! Almost like going shopping!! Love all your goodies you received - but also truly love all the ones you SENT! Holy HECK Girl!! You learned your spoiling lessons something good!! Please, please, please tell us you will make some of your cupboard prints for sale! I know you were so kind to take the time to tell me how....but, truly....me and that kind of craft would not be a pretty sight (much uglier than a country mouse dancing, TRUST ME!!) And your little sheep tissue box that you made is also ADORABLE!! Whatever! Everything is adorable!! You've got talent Sweetie!! Hope you're enjoying a cool evening! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
