A few garden pics

Wow can you believe that it is already June ?  It is hot and muggy here in good old Kentucky this morning .I  thought I'd share a few pics of some my flowers and things .I really need to get out and weed and get the beds mulched, with all the rain I am behind big time. I have a few beds that I am just getting started so they aren't in the best shape yet,so please overlook the weeds and stuff .

This is stump is from an old apple tree that stood in my parents yard for years.
Tabby ,my shadow when I am working outside .
Love the color of these .

My first day lily bloom of  the season.

Hope you enjoy a glimpse of my yard. While the gardens need weeding and lots of work who can help but admire the beauty God had given us.I found out last night that most of my flowers will have to be moved as we have a drainage problem and have quite a bit of water standing under our home. Just as they are starting to take off I will have to dig them up and hope that it doesn't kill them .I guess a few dead plants is better than  having to replace all the floors in the house. Still isn't  a good feeling .

Hope to do a few makeovers in the next few days and will be back to share them with you all . I am going to be outside much of the day in search of a baby rabbit.Something opened my Netherland Dwarf cage door and I had three babies missing this morning. Thankfully I have managed to find two of the three so far. They are only four weeks old so it still needs it's momma. Many blessings ,Jen

Oh, my! Bad news on all fronts! First and foremost, good luck finding the bun! My heart aches for the poor little thing. It must be so frightened.
Secondly, yee gads! water under the floors is a serious thing. I will pray for dry weather so you can get it fixed in record time! You can get new plants much cheaper than replacing floors! Ouch!

Pretty, pretty, flowers....but YIKES, Girl - that's distressing about the water and the bunny. Water under your floors does not sound like something easy (or inexpensive) to fix....I wish you luck with that! And, poor, poor, little bunny - hope you have found him by now!!! Enjoy your warmth - we're back to brrrr...(and wind) here....Smiles, Hugs & the BEST OF LUCK~~ Robin

Hi Jen:) as I told you, I love your flower garden. You're probably right about the coon, but also coulda been an oppossum. They're nasty ole critters. I know it's sad, but we have to accept that this is one of nature's "not so nice" things that happens, but I'm still hopin' that bunny made it and is hoppin' around out there somewhere and will hop back home. We can hold onto that, yes?

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Always nice to see you.
We have the same humid weather going on right now - not for me.

Your flowers/gardens are so pretty. Looks like you have plenty of Sun to help them grow and get lots of color...we have mostly shade so it limits us so much...sorry you will have to disturb them though - but you said it...much better than ruining the house.

Hope you find your lost baby bunny. Yuck on water under the house. When you dig up your plants try to put them into containers with some miracle grow potting soil and keep them watered well in a more shaded area til they have recovered from being moved. I separate and move plants all the time and as long as I give them plenty of water and some shade they always manage to survive. Good luck fixing the drainage issue.

Your pictures looked great, we are so warm and dry in Florida that everything is drying up, can't water enough. I hope you find your little rabbit, he's probably out having a good time.
