Happy Saturday ...

Just wanted to say hello ! It is a beautiful day here ,a tad warm at 92 but the sun is shining and life is.good. Today is the last day of our local county fair  and hubby is helping out with the usual problems that can arise at these gatherings.

I am still miserable but grateful for the day that I have been given. I may be dealing with poison ivy and look like a chipmunk getting ready for a harsh winter but I am still blessed.Thank the Good Lord for Benadryl  !

I  have met many new and wonderful ladies since I have started my blog and all I can say is a big thank you. To show my appreciation I have decided  to have a giveaway once I reach 50 followers .I am sorry that I was not able to get the giveaway posted yesterday but I was having problems getting the stand glued in place.I finally took  it apart this morning and went a different route.

Here is what I am going to be giving away ....

It is a canteen gourd that I grew last year and painted this week  .This is a nice sized gourd measuring 12 inches  across and tall. The gourd is about 5 inches thick . I used a John Sliney design as inspiration and put my own spin on it.

The rules are as follows.
1.You must be a follower of this blog.
2.Leave a comment letting  me know you want to be entered on this post . If you don't have a blog please leave me a way to contact you should you win .
3.For a second entry ,post about  this on your blog.
4.And if you add my giveaway to your sidebar I 'll add your name one more
 time.
5.For another entry tell me a favorite summer time memory .
6.This is open only for the United States ,sorry but with shipping cost I felt this would be the best.
Once I reach the 50 followers goal I will have hubby pull out  a name. Good luck and hugs,Jen

Hey, Jennifer! How sweet of you to have such a great giveaway!
I am a follower.
I live in Iowa.
I will post your giveaway on my sidebar.
I don't find your button.
My favorite summer memory is going down to the creek with my Mom and Dad and siblings to go swimming on hot days. It was a pretty creek called the Overshot and that cool water rushed over us so fast. It was awesome. I also remember all of us kids sleeping on the living room floor with the front door open and a fan blowing on us. We laughed and giggled but always fell asleep, scattered around on the floor. Growing up was such fun. Too bad it didn't last longer......
Good luck with your giveaway.
Can you remove the word verification from your comment? Would sure making commenting easier.
